Are you looking for a little time for yourself to unwind and meet new people?
Karen holds workshops on a regular basis which are specifically designed to be engaging and absorbing, but most of all fun. Each class gently guides the student through a range of exercises that help them to explore and learn
different tips and techniques to strengthen self confidence and enable them to develop their own style.
The workshops cover a range of different subjects from Beginners Drawing Classes to Use of Colour, Paint Techniques, and Painting or Drawing specific subjects.

Costs
The cost of workshops held in Karen's studio is generally £10 per hour.
Alternative venues charge different rates, so please enquire per venue.

Payments are made by bank transfer, please ask for details as aplicable.
All art materials are included in the price and refreshments of tea coffee and biscuits are free too, although you may wish to bring a lunch for longer courses.
Please bring an apron or wear old clothing as some painting classes can get messy.
Venues
The majority of Karen's classes are held in her studio in St Austell, but can be in held a variety of other places such as galleries and gardens within Cornwall.

Shorter, two hour, sessions are available on alternate Mondays at the Sports club in Tregony
Car Parking/Train
There are a number of Car Parks in St Austell:
Beech Road Car Park, Priory Road PL25 5AB
The Priory car park is the nearest to the studio with a short 5 minute walk down to the town centre and Main Street. Turn left on Main Street and head towards Church Square, walk downhill to the right of the church and Karen's studio is on the right hand side of the road above the Seetec offices.
High Cross Street Car Park St Austell PL25 4LA
The Car Park is situated in High Cross Street which is opposite the Quaker Meeting House.
The St Austell Railway Station is a short 5 minute walk from the studio for those wishing to travel by train. Just head out of the station and head downhill towards town, once you arrive at the church square walk along the left side of the church and past the White Hart Hotel, Karen's studio is on the left hand side of the road above the Seetec offices.
General Info
Toilet facilities are available at all venues but not all are accessible to mobility restricted users, please check prior to booking.
Karen's studio has no wheelchair access, unfortunately, as is situated on the second floor.
